Google Analytics

Provided that you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics – a web analysis service offered by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (hereinafter “Google”) – on this website.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” – text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (such as your IP address, device and browser, time, place and duration of your visit to the website, pages visited on the website) is generally transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

However, since IP anonymization is activated by default in Google Analytics 4, Google will first truncate your IP address (by deleting the last 8 bits of an IPv4 address or the last 80 bits of an IPv6 address) within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there.

On our behalf, Google uses this information for the purposes of evaluating use of the website, in order to collate reports on web activities for the website operators, and to provide additional services connected with the use of the website and the Internet.

The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data, according to Google.

The data is retained by Google for 14 months and then automatically deleted.
