Registration and initial consultation
In the course of the initial consultation the various treatment processes are explained in detail and you have the opportunity to address any of your concerns. Please allow about 1 hour for this consultation. Because of the amount of time involved prior registration is required.
It is possible, but not necessarily a prerequisite to undergo pre-exams in advance and bring the results to the initial consultation. Useful in this context are, for example:
- basal hormone levels in women (Blood sample taken on day 2 to 5 of the cycle, TSH , E2 , FSH, LH , prolactin)
- spermiogram in men
In any case, we advise you to bring all documents relating to any pretreatment, other health problems or possibly even older lab results to your first consultation.
We also recommend that before (and after) your initial consultation you draw up a list of the questions that are of greatest concern to you. It is important to us you ask all the questions you have on your mind. If you think that there is something you did not fully understand, we encourage you to please ask again.
